PILLANS POINT SCHOOL
Pillans Point School welcomes International Students from around the world.
We respect, value and celebrate the cultural differences and contributions that International Students and their families bring to our school community.
We pride ourselves on offering an educational experience where life-long friendships are made, learning is fun, and is seen an ongoing 'Adventure'.
Pillans Point School is recognised for providing a high level of support and pastoral care for our International Students and their families. International Students settle in quickly and we encourage them to take advantage of the wide range of programmes and activities Pillans Point School and the wider Tauranga area has to offer.
Pillans Point School is a signatory to the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2016 and accepts fee-paying International Students for short and long-term visits.
All students are placed in a class determined by their age and are encouraged and supported to participate in the full school curriculum and all activities as a valued member of the class and our school community. All International Students will be withdrawn for specialised English tuition that caters to their individual needs.
Kia Ora! Welcome!
FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school.
International students form an important part of our school identity and culture. We have hosted international students and their families since 2013 and have enjoyed the great relationships and culture that these children and families have brought to our school.
I hope that once you have had the chance to learn about our fantastic school, you will take the opportunity to join our school community.
